Book Hero Magic formatted this description to make it easier to read. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! Description

This is an entirely different kind of book from Michael Wiese. Michael is constantly asked, "How did you ever manage to move to a remote cottage in Cornwall and grow a successful publishing company and raise a family and make films all over the world?" Onward & Upward shows you how he did it.

A roller-coaster ride in the film and television industries is recounted through engaging and humorous stories. The real surprise comes when he strings together pearls of spiritual wisdom from his experiences in Japan, India, Bali, Tibet, and Peru.

His stories show how his character and life's direction are shaped by mentors like Salvador DalΓ and Buckminster Fuller, and by colleagues like John Robbins, Michael Murphy, Shirley MacLaine, and many others.

Book Hero Magic summarised reviews for this book. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! HOW HAS THIS BEEN REVIEWED?

About the Author

Michael Wiese has a knack for being at the right place at the right time and when that's not the case, he enthusiastically creates his own opportunities. He has been a producer, director, writer, and publisher. Twenty-five years ago he broke away from the straight and narrow to create a substantive body of work. Despite being diagnosed five years ago with Parkinson's, his search for healing has taken him from stem cell therapy to Amazonian plant medicine. His spiritual quests have been documented in his latest films The Sacred Sites of the Dalai Lamas (Tibet), The Shaman & Ayahuasca (Peru), and Talking with Spirits (Bali).
