- The creation of the first modern wristwatch in 1904 for Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont, at a time when pocket watches still reigned
- The emergence of the iconic panther motif, designed by Jeanne Toussaint, partner of Cartier’s grandson and later Creative Director of the house
- Cartier’s close connections with royalty in the early twentieth century
- The legendary story of Cartier’s New York flagship, famously acquired from its owner in exchange for a pearl necklace
- The instantly recognisable deep-red box, now a global symbol of luxury
A must-have for lovers of fashion, jewellery and timeless design.
