About the Author

Growing up on a Tadmor farm, Megan Bell spent nights gazing at mountains, moon and stars, imagining journeys beyond the doorstep. A career working with children kept her curiosity and connection to the natural world alive. Now at mid-life, she reflects on how to live one wild and precious life. Megan lives with her supportive husband and young son in the family home in Mohua/Golden Bay, Aotearoa New Zealand, and has two adult daughters forging their own
paths. Poetry has become her way to process experience, emotion and relationships. Padfoot Flynn the dog and Ellie the cat are constant companions.
