About the Author
Matt Cook is an experienced IT, networking and electronics engineer whose passion for cars began early, with the Mustang always at the centre. After restoring Minis and MGBs, he imported his first Mustang - a 1968 Fastback that demanded a full, ground-up restoration. Taking on the challenge himself, Matt rebuilt much of the car, including its small-block V8, gaining deep practical knowledge along the way. Now a recognised figure in his local Mustang community, he supports fellow enthusiasts with advice, technical help and restoration insights. He has written for club magazines and websites, and is also the author of Veloce's Buyer's Guide to the fifth-generation S197 Mustang.
