Book Hero Magic formatted this description to make it easier to read. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! Description

Aggie Morton, Mystery Queen: The Body under the Piano introduces us to Aggie Morton, a young girl living in a small town on the coast of England in 1902. Adventurous and imaginative, yet deeply shy, Aggie hasn't found much to occupy her time since the death of her beloved father. This changes on a fateful day when she meets twelve-year-old Belgian immigrant Hector Perot and they stumble upon a dead body in the Mermaid Dance Room.

As suspects multiply and the murder threatens to tear the town apart, Aggie and Hector must rely on their insatiable curiosity, deductive skills, and some help from friends, to solve the case. All this must be accomplished before Aggie's beloved dance instructor is wrongfully charged with a crime Aggie believes she did not commit.

This smart and charming middle-grade mystery series stars young detective Aggie Morton and her friend Hector. The story is inspired by the imagined childhood of Agatha Christie and her most popular creation, Hercule Poirot.
