Man Chen is a post-romantic poet who is at his best when language is polished like a withered flower, knowing its demise, but continuing to forge on against the odds, wanting to shine in a declining darkness that feels like depression.

It seems that I'm depressed captures the essence of Chen's reflective style, presenting a poetic journey through themes of resilience and emotional struggle. The collection resonates with anyone who has faced the daunting depths of melancholia, yet finds beauty in persistence.
