Karlsson is an experienced knitter and pattern maker, and has created easy-to-follow descriptions and diagrams for each project, which are size inclusive and graded according to difficulty. The text is full of Maja's advice, tips and tricks, as well as a 'knitting school' that looks in more detail at some of the steps that require a little extra attention.
As always with Maja's books, Nordic Winter Knits is beautifully illustrated with fantastic photography by Helene Pe, bringing life and colour to each project. Simply put, this book makes your fingers itch to start knitting!

About the Author
Maja Karlsson was taught how to knit at 6 years old by her grandmother and her fascination with the possibilities of knitting has just kept growing ever since. Over time, Maja started to work more with knit designs, which is now her main job. She is Head of Design at Jarbo Garn yarn manufacturer. As her knitting work has picked up, she has slowly but steadily built up her own business, working with pattern designs, writing, photography, blogging, and online store and as a course leader. She has 32.4k followers on Instagram. She lives in Arvika, Sweden.
