What Made You Smile Today?
A comforting story about dealing with big life changes-moving house and starting a new school
A comforting story about dealing with big life changes - moving house and starting a new school.
Every day, when Mama collects me from school, she says, What made you smile today? and, every day, I tell her all the things that made me smile. Sometimes, there's only one, but, like Mama says... sometimes, one smile is all we need.
Moving house and starting a new school can be difficult, but one little girl's mama has just the thing to help: a smile jar. As the girl draws pictures of all the little things that make her smileβfrom her new bedroom to the friendly children upstairsβand puts them in the jar, everything starts to feel just a little bit better. Sometimes there are lots of things to smile about, but sometimes one smile is all you need.
