Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass, by Lewis Carroll, first published in 1865 and 1871 respectively, have entertained readers young and old for more than a century. Lewis Carroll, a.k.a. Charles Dodgson (1832-1898), is the author of the classic children's stories Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. Dodgson served as a clergyman and mathematician at Christ Church College, his alma mater in Oxford, England, for almost fifty years.
