Seeker Society
Shackleton’s School for Seekers is a haven for students as diverse as the magical gifts they possess. But as the new class of Seekers soon learn, the ability to hear voices from the past or sense an object’s history can lead to great knowledge...and even greater danger.
Seeker Society by Jana Tropper and Kyle Higgins invites readers into Shackleton’s School for Seekers, a haven for students as diverse as the magical gifts they possess. But as the new class of Seekers soon learn, the ability to hear voices from the past or sense an object’s history can lead to great knowledge... and even greater danger.
When Fern, Jordan, and Zack are selected for a mysterious class trip with Shackleton’s fearless Dr. Adichie, they’ve only just begun to explore the limits of their powers. It’s clear their teacher knows more than she’s letting on about the kids’ gifts—and the dangers they’ll be facing. But when an unexpected accident separates the trio from their instructor and leaves them stranded on an uncharted island, they’ll have to learn to rely on each other to survive the hostile environment and the Seekers’ equally hostile rivals, the Keepers.
This gorgeously illustrated graphic novel is now in print for the first time after its successful debut on the Epic! platform.

About the Author
Jana Tropper, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a writer, presenter, and speech-language pathologist at a public elementary school outside Chicago. When she's not writing, reading, or playing video games, she enjoys visiting schools and has presented as both an educator and author at several events including C2E2, LITapalooza, New York Comic Con, and San Diego Comic Con. She lives with her husband, Josh, and their own three rescue dogs: Ripley, Newt, and Sandy Lambert.
Kyle Higgins is an Eisner award-nominated, #1 New York Times best-selling comic book author and filmmaker known for his work on DC Comics’ Batman titles as well as his critically acclaimed reinventions of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers for Boom! Studios, Ultraman for Marvel Comics, and his creator-owned series Radiant Black, NO/ONE, and Deep Cuts for Image Comics. He is the creative director of Black Market Narrative and The Massive-Verse.
Zack Giallongo is your typical artist with a beard. He makes his own comics, drawings for roleplaying games, and teaches illustration. Growing up in Massachusetts, he also spent a lot of time in Indiana with his maternal side of the family. After spending time as a video store clerk, a museum guard, and a gym teacher, he found work in creating independent comics and graphic novels for all readers and has tried not to look back. He's gotten the chance to work with Star Wars (Star Wars Doodles and The Doodles Strike Back from Disney publishing, and Ewoks: Shadows of Endor from Dark Horse) as well as making stories and drawings for Ducktales and Adventure Time. His own graphic novel, Broxo (which is about teenage barbarians and zombies) was a New York Times bestseller. Of cheese, banjos, and dogs, his love is unwavering.
Whitney Cogar is a comic colorist and illustrator from Savannah, GA. She contributed colors to the two time Eisner Award winning Giant Days (Boom! Studios), the Ringo! Award winning The O.Z., the Steven Universe comic series (Boom! Studios), and Lucy Knisley's Peapod Farm series (Random House). She enjoys building punchy, rich environments in her work and designing enamel pins.
