Description
Oona and the Shark tells the story of Oona, a determined little mermaid facing her biggest challenge yet: making friends with Stanley the shark. What will she do? This is a fun-filled and gorgeously illustrated celebration of friendship, creativity, and perseverance.
Oona loves to share her inventions with her friends. Theyβre big, bold, and loudβjust like her!
However, thereβs one underwater creature who doesnβt seem to enjoy Oonaβs company or her creations. And thatβs Stanley the shark!
Oonaβs latest hopping, chopping, and popping inventions only seem to make him angry.
While Oona may not know what Stanley likes, she does know what he doesnβt. And maybe thatβs a good place to start. Because mermaids never stop trying, especially when thereβs a friend out there to make.
From the New York Times bestselling author Kelly DiPucchio, and featuring the extraordinary illustrative talents of Raissa Figueroa, the dynamic partnership behind Oona.
