Te Hipo Huna
Te Hipo Huna
A reo Māori edition of this deft and delightful tale, packed with word play and madcap energy.
A class trip to the zoo descends into a chaotic hunt for the missing hippopotamus. Teacher, zookeeper, and all the children join the search. The noise and drama reach a fever pitch, yet no one thinks to listen to quiet Liam, who might actually know where the hippo is hiding.
Te Hipo Huna by Juliette MacIver captures the excitement and humour of a day at the zoo, showcasing the dynamic between chaos and calm through vibrant storytelling and delightful characters.
