Are you an inclusive designer?

Book Hero Magic crafted this summary to help describe this book. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! Summary
Despite improvements over the past 30 years, many buildings remain difficult and uncomfortable for diverse users. Are You an Inclusive Designer? by Julie Fleck advocates for a fresh, comprehensive approach to inclusivity and accessibility in architecture. This eye-opening guide examines multiple factors affecting accessibility in the built environment, featuring illustrated examples of both effective and poor design. It challenges the misconception that inclusive design is just a checklist of special features or solely about wheelchair access. The book explores social and business reasons for raising standards, empowering architects to engage clients in meaningful dialogue about striving beyond minimal compliance.
