About the Author

Renee Biermann has been writing and editing K-12 educational materials for almost twenty years. She specializes in English Language Arts and content for multilingual learners. Biermann enjoys generating exciting content, tackling state standards, and lighting the flame of curiosity in young readers all at the same time. She lives and works in Iowa. Stephanie True Peters is a freelance children's book writer with a diverse portfolio of published works featuring princesses and swamp monsters, inspirational men and heroic dogs, sports of all sorts and Greek mythology. An avid reader, workout enthusiast, animal lover, and a firm believer that our words and actions matter, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her children, Jackson and Chloe. She lives in Mansfield, Massachusetts, with her husband Dan. Jehan Jones-Radgowski is the author of seven children's books. She received a bachelor's degree from George Mason University and her M.A. from George Washington University. She is also a U.S. Foreign Service Officer. She has lived with her three kids, husband, and dog worldwide, including the Dominican Republic, Germany, South Africa, Spain, the Russian Federation, the United States, and Venezuela. Romรกn Dรญaz was born in Mexico. Since he was a child, he always wanted to draw like adults. Now that he is an adult, he likes to draw like children. He's created illustrations for books, video games, and many other projects. He likes to eat colorful fruits and vegetables and admires animals in documentaries because it seems they have superpowers. Miguel was born in a small town in the south of Spain, called Cabra. At the age of 18 he moved to Seville to study Media and Communications. He learned how to use the audioviusal language to tell stories and how the media field works. When he finished college he moved to the UK. He lived in London for almost two years and studied Illustration at the Central Saint Martin's School of Art. After that he moved to Madrid, where he lives now and works as a freelance. He loves trying new things and challenging himself. Antonella was born in Cordoba, Argentina, in 1992. She has been a graphic designer since 2014 and is a self-taught illustrator. She enjoys thinking and drawing as children would and illustrating for them. She loves candy, anything that's fluffy colorful, teddies, strawberries, cupcakes, pink donuts, and especially bunnies. Forrest Burdett is an illustrator from New Jersey with a passion for vibrant colors and homemade hummus. Born into a family of creatives, Forrest has been making art since he was a child scribbling in notebooks. He studied illustration at FIT in New York City and now lives in Portland, Oregon. He uses art as a way to find magic in small, everyday things. See more of his work at www.forrestburdett.com Alex Lopez is from Sabadell, Spain. He became a professional illustrator and comic-book artist in 2001, but he's been drawing ever since he can remember. Lopez's pieces have been published in many countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Spain, France, Italy, Belgium, and Turkey. He's also worked on a variety of projects from illustrated books to video games to marketing pieces. Cรฉsar Samaniego was born in Barcelona in 1975. He grew up with an artist father, smelling his father's oils, reading his comic books, and trying to paint over his father's illustrations! He attended Llotja Arts and Crafts School and graduated with honors in 2010. Since then he has published many books and provided art for apps, textbooks, and animations. Cรฉsar lives in Canet de Mar, a small town on the coast of Barcelona, with his wife, daughter, five cats, and a crazy dog.
