About the Author

Trading in a police badge for a pen and clapperboard, Janine is now a full-time writer and filmmaker. Influenced by the works of Stephen King from a young age, she uses her policing background to create authentic characters and exciting action scenes. A lifelong film fan, she kickstarted her nonfiction writing career, in books and magazine articles, with Sausages: The Making of Dog Soldiers. This was followed by The Making of The Descent.

Janine has also written and directed several shorts and has feature films in development. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and dog, drinking coffee and planning trips to Walt Disney World. Based in the UK.
