About the Author

Jamia Wilson is an award-winning feminist activist, writer, speaker, and podcaster. Wilson has contributed to The New York Times, The Today Show, CNN, BBC, Oprah Daily, Teen Vogue, Elle, The Guardian, and more. She is an author of books for all ages, including Young Gifted and Black, Step Into Your Power, Big Ideas for Young Thinkers, and more. Ashley Lukashevsky is a Queer Mixed-Asian artist originally from Honolulu, Hawaii. Ash uses illustration and visual art as a tool to strengthen social movements for our collective liberation- racial justice, immigrant justice, climate justice, mental health and LGBTQIA+ liberation. They believe that we need to be able to envision a world beyond harmful systems, and that art can be a pathway to do just that. Devon Blow is a multi-talented artist from Los Angeles, CA, specializing in illustration, design, writing, and social justice activism. Her work passionately advocates for marginalized communities while celebrating cultural diversity. Notable clients include The Obama Foundation, Oprah's Book Club, The LA Times, and the United Nations.
