A Woolly Tale
A Woolly Tale
A Woolly Tale by Jackie Hosking tells the story of Chris, the merino sheep, who is nervous about his first shearing and decides to escape into the bush. Initially, Chris enjoys his new life among the gum trees, but as time passes, his fleece becomes heavier and heavier.
Chris's adventure into the unknown takes an unexpected turn when he encounters a wiry dingo. Is the dingo there to help Chris overcome his fears? Can Chris find his way back to the farm? Will he become the world's woolliest sheep?
