About the Author
Heidi Elisabet Yolen Stemple is the author of more than thirty books for children, some of which she coauthored with her mother, Jane Yolen, including Not All Princesses Dress in Pink. Heidi lives in Hatfield, Massachusetts.
Gareth Lucas is an award-winning illustrator living in Essex. He has an honors BA in illustration from Brighton University and an MA in communication design from Central Saint Martins. When not illustrating, Gareth likes to spend time with his lovely wife and five kids, pick a banjo, strum a guitar, or play a mandolin! He works mainly digitally and particularly enjoys decorative work and children’s book illustration—you can even see his work painted on china.
