About the Author

Hannah Wilson is an award-winning childrenโ€™s non-fiction author and editor. During the past 25 years, she has made more than 100 books about nature, history, literacy, science and technology. Hannah loves creating books that inspire children to think for themselves. When she is not busy with tricky languages โ€“ Hannah has a degree in ancient Greek and is studying Mandarin Chinese โ€“ she can be found climbing rocks, running through parks and hanging out with her two young sons. Hannah lives in Devon.

Samara Hardy has always loved to draw. Unfortunately for her parents, this was often on their walls with her mother's lipstick. Realizing she might make a career out of this she studied illustration at Falmouth University and, since graduating in 2014, has worked with clients across the globe on picture books, homewares, greetings cards and more. She currently lives and works from her home studio in a small village just outside Tunbridge Wells.
