A clever, charmingly quirky portrayal of painter Jackson Pollock – and the first in a series of picture-book biographies of contemporary artists

Book Hero Magic formatted this description to make it easier to read. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! Description

Jackson Pollock Splashed Paint And Wasn't Sorry tells the story of an unconventional artist who revolutionised the art of painting. Jackson Pollock was unlike any other painter. Rather than sitting in front of an easel with brushes, he poured paint over canvases spread out on the floor, creating dynamic artworks filled with energy and rhythm.

This book captures Pollock's story with wit and eccentricity, beautifully complemented by black-line illustrations and plenty of paint splatters. Fausto Gilberti brings movement, life, and whimsy to the true-life story of one of the most important contemporary artists of our time.
