A bilingual poem in English and Te Reo Māori, Seeking Will explores relationships and how we find our way through uncertainty.

The illustrations are created on painted backgrounds made with tamariki, forming a shared landscape of storm, play, and return.

About the Author

Emma Hinton is a writer, artist, celebrant and creative facilitator. In 2022, she founded The Light Library-a living studio for storytelling, workshops, and books. With a background in filmmaking and a commitment to relational resilience, she creates collaborative projects that centre around creativity and wellbeing. Emma is the author of poetic picture books co-created with children through art and story. She is of Ngati Maniapoto, English, and Welsh ancestry, and lives in Tamaki Makaurau Auckland with her daughter and cat.
