Crow tells him to check with Cat, because maybe she has seen his mom; Cat hasn't seen her, so she tells Calf to ask Dog; Dog isn't sure where Calf's mom is, so he tells her to ask Pig if she's seen her; Pig tells him to find out if Sheep knows where his mom might be; and to Calf's relief, Sheep tells him to check at the bottom of the hill, where he finds his mom and the rest of his family.
