Book Hero Magic summarised reviews for this book. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! HOW HAS THIS BEEN REVIEWED?

Maya Marshall praises Mukherjee's collection as a penetrating and reflective work that skilfully navigates themes of aging, illness, faith, and family with a keen diasporic sensibility. The poems are noted for their clear vision and vivid sensory awareness, employing diverse poetic forms to create a remarkable emotional impact. The collection complicates the immigrant narrative through lush, fierce, and tender lyricism, capturing cultural identity, migration, womanhood, and race. Mukherjee's poetry acts as a poetic kaleidoscope spanning cities from Delhi to Chicago, revealing powerful storytelling and masterful lyricism that invite readers to rediscover language as a homeland.
