Intended for children ages 6 to 12, Secrets of the Studio / Ateliers à la loupe is a brief history of art in the form of fun and educational surveys within the studios of the leading artists of the late nineteenth century and the twentieth century.

Damian Elwes's research and reconstruction of these workshops is presented to the young audience as a series of investigations carried out by the character of Detective Damian, who we follow throughout the book.

Accompanying each of the studios reproduced by Damian Elwes, there will be an anecdote about its discovery, a few lines about the artist in question, and a game of clues to engage the reader in an active experience.
