This delightful book of linked stories adds a sprinkle of cosy fantasy and a fable-like touch. The story takes place in the magical Amberglow Candy Store located in the Night Alley.
Readers are introduced to Kogetsu, the half-fox shopkeeper, whose magical wagashi sweets from his shop on Gloaming Lane promise to change his customers' lives for the better.
The narrative follows an array of characters from various walks of life through their encounters with Kogetsu. Throughout these interactions, Kogetsu learns significant life lessons and gradually reveals his own backstory.

About the Author
Hiyoko Kurisu was born in Ibaraki Prefecture. She is the author of several novels and light novels, and her debut Confectionary Senpai's Delicious Recipes won the Special Award of Starts Publishing's 'Become a Novelist' Prize. Her most recent book was The Twilight Post Office in the Night Alley, which is the sequel to The Amberglow Candy Store in the Night Alley.
