About the Author

Venice has been a central theme of Susan L. Schwartz's life for as long as she can remember and the wonder she felt as a child never fades. In 2011, she founded her luxury travel blog, Best Bits Worldwide, which later inspired her to focus on the world of drinks. For the past decade, she has written her award-winning drinks and travel blog, A Lush Life Manual, and hosted Lush Life Podcast, where she interviews the world’s best bar industry professionals. Her writing has appeared in major publications world-wide, including Condé Nast Traveler, Mail on Sunday, and The Tonic Magazine. She spends as much time as she can sipping spritzes in St Mark’s Square with the ones she loves. @alushlifemanual
