The Undercover Book List

Book Hero Magic crafted this summary to help describe this book. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! Summary
The Undercover Book List follows Jane, a middle-grade reader navigating school and family challenges while her father is posted overseas with the military. The story sensitively explores how bias can impact a child's success and celebrates educators who confront and overcome these obstacles. Central to the narrative are warm intergenerational relationships, particularly Jane's bond with her grandparents as her grandfather coaches her Kid Lit Quiz team and supports her through his stroke recovery. This heartfelt story also showcases Jane's growth into the person she aspires to be, enriched by a love of books and a carefully curated bibliography of middle-grade novel recommendations.
