Book Hero Magic created this recommendation. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! IS THIS YOUR NEXT READ?
The book will take you through a multi-million-dollar recall, from the initial call to legal proceedings. The recall management process is divided into two sections, the reactive phase, on what happened and managing through the process, followed by the proactive phase on what to do to prevent it within your organization.
In the Midst of a Recall explores one of the most stressful situations in today's business environment: the product recall. These events can involve complex products, potentially place lives at risk, involve tens to hundreds of millions of pounds at stake, and determine the company's fate, all of which require precise and decisive decision-making skills.
The author, Robert W. Manning, who has led teams in operations, quality, and external consulting, guides you through the intricate processes involved in a recall, detailing the decisions made and the outcomes achieved throughout the experience.
These experiences and lessons offer the reader valuable concepts, strategies, and tools necessary for building a robust, customisable recall prevention plan.

At one point in his career, he was assigned to lead a team of plant, corporate, and technical manufacturing experts through a multi-year recall investigation within a facility.
