Eleven-year-old Tommy has dreamed of being on the Bulldogs sports team forever. The Bulldogs eat, breathe, and fart sports. Theyβre part of the elusive Super Sports Society in his hometown, and Tommy knows that if he makes the team, heβll be set up for life.
Β
Meanwhile, Pel would rather be at home gaming in the air conditioning, but his mom decided that he has to βbe a role modelβ to his little siblings (ugh!), and now heβs trying out for the Bulldogs too. At least that means the two BFFs wonβt be in competition for the spot . . . right? (Wrong.)
Β
Join Pel; Tommy; the owner of a pickle store, Pete; a supercool girl named Clutch; a coach who wears sunglasses inside; and the rest of the Bulldogs sports team in this epically awesome illustrated book thatβs packed with tons of laugh-out-loud moments.
Β
But be warnedβthis book is based on a true story. Do NOT eat this many sunflower seeds at home . . . trust us.

About the Author
BryanΒ ChickΒ lives in Clarkston, Michigan, where he haplessly roots for the Detroit Lions. When he's not writing, he jumps town to be with like-minded peers at elementary schools around the nation. A bunch of things in The Super Sports Society really happened, which goes to show the strange life he's had. A Turd Tank, really? Yes. Bryan's Secret Zoo book series has sold almost a million copies. He has two new series being released in 2024: The Super Sports Society (Andrews McMeel Publishing) and Wayfinders (Blackstone Publishing).Β
Brett Radlicki is an illustrator who lives with his wife in southeast Michigan. Together they have raised two amazing humans and an occasionally obedient dog. When BrettΒ is not tripping over his shoelaces during a baseball game, you can find him with a sketchbook creating pictures and comics. Some of these doodles find their way into books, magazines, and garbage cans around the world. The Super Sports Society is dear to Brett because of his love for sports, drawing, and portable toilets.Β
