Description

Beatrice Likes the Dark is a charming story of two sisters with contrasting preferences.

Beatrice embraces the dark. She enjoys wearing black clothes, having picnics in graveyards, and gazing at a sky full of stars. Her sister Roo, on the other hand, is drawn to the light. She delights in bright clothes, picking strawberries, and basking in hot, sunny days.

Despite being nothing alike and not understanding each other, the sisters embark on a journey to bridge their differences. Can Beatrice help Roo appreciate the dark as she does? Can Roo teach Beatrice to love the light? Or are their differences too great to overcome?

With lush, detailed artwork from award-winning illustrator Khoa Le, acclaimed author April Genevieve Tucholke presents a heartwarming, slightly spooky tale. This enchanting story celebrates the individuality of two very different sisters, reminding us that love can transcend differences.
