Description
An atmospheric exploration of childhood worries and how to overcome them, by the 2000 Hans Christian Andersen Medal Winner.
Silly Billy introduces us to Billy, a child who is a bit of a worrier. He frets about hats and shoes, clouds and rain, and even giant birds. Most of all, he worries about staying at other people's houses. Despite his mum and dad's attempts to help, Billy continues to worry.
Everything changes when he visits his grandma. She shows him how to overcome his fears using the power of his imagination and some tiny worry dolls. This heart-warming tale offers reassurance and creative solutions for dealing with childhood anxieties.
