Peep Inside the Nativity
A beautiful retelling of the story of the Nativity with delicate holes cut into the pages. This is a book to treasure every Christmas, with stunning cut-out peep-holes leading from one entrancing scene to the next - the angel talking to Mary, the journey on the donkey to Bethlehem, to the stable with baby Jesus in the manger, under a magnificent cut-out starry sky.
The artwork is enchanting and atmospheric, from the warm, cosy stable to the golden-winged angels appearing to the shepherds at night. With lots to talk about, this lovely edition will engage small children in the original Bible story and the true meaning of Christmas.
Peep Inside the Nativity is a delightful keepsake for families to enjoy during the festive season.

About the Author
Growing up on the Wirral and in Germany, Anna wrote plays about talking animals, and stories about naughty children, and drew on every available surface. After school, she did an Art Foundation course, then a degree in German Literature & Philosophy at Oxford University. In 1998 she found her perfect job at Usborne in London, writing about everything from curious penguins to trips to the Moon. Emma Allen was a trained speech pathologist, specialising in early childhood, before she returned to university to pursue a lifelong love of literature. The Terrible Suitcase won the 2013 CBCA Book of the Year: Early Childhood award. She writes from her Canberra home where she lives with her husband Richard and three young children Harriet, Rupert and Hazel.
