The garden is the pride and joy of the elderly couple who live there, Ned and Mary. When Mary has to go to hospital for a long period, Ned loses heart and the garden becomes neglected. It feels like the love has gone, but luckily, all the animals who live in the garden join together to make it beautiful once again. Then in the spring, when everything is in full bloom, they get a wonderful surprise.

About the Author
Amy Adele studied illustration at Falmouth University in Cornwall, UK. She lives in Essex, UK, with her partner and two children. Her work inspirations include nature and imagining the secret lives of woodland animals while on walks. She primarily works in watercolor and gouache, with a little digital magic here and there. Her pockets are full of sea glass, feathers, and chestnuts, partly collected by her children but mostly by herself! Her first book, The Christmas Songbook, was published in 2023. Love Grows Here is the first book she has both written and illustrated.
