See moreThis book is not just my story, it is an invitation into your own. Because hope can be held, shaped and carried, one bucket at a time. - Abang Anade Othow
Separated from her family at the age of five, Abang Anade Othow endured unimaginable loss, displacement and trauma. Yet, in the face of chaos, she imagined a lifeline: Buckets of Hope. These five symbolic buckets - yellow for joy and gratitude, green for growth and generosity, red for survival and intuition, black for resilience and resolve, and blue for flow and adaptability - became her system for navigating life's darkest moments and finding light again.
Through each defining chapter of her life, from the war-torn landscapes of Sudan to the refugee camps of Ethiopia and Kenya, and finally to the shores of Australia, Abang shares how she transformed pain into purpose to become an internationally recognised educator, speaker and leader. Her framework has since inspired individuals and communities worldwide.
More than a memoir, Buckets of Hope is a toolkit for anyone seeking to rise above challenges and create a life of meaning. Whether you're navigating personal struggles, seeking emotional healing or simply looking for inspiration, this book will empower you to carry hope forward.
