About the Author

Samantha's favourite thing about writing and editing children's books is marvelling at how much can be said in so few words. She lives in London in a tall house with lots of stairs and has some of her best ideas while she's on her way to the kitchen to make strong cups of tea. Her other great passion is football and she is a dedicated supporter of a team who don't win very often.

Ella Bailey is a freelance illustrator currently living in Devon, in the UK. She specializes in children's books having illustrated many board, novelty and picture books. Ella works mostly digitally and likes to incorporate lots of texture and limited, lively palettes into her artwork. Some of her favourite things to draw include children, animals and ghosts.
