The Waters

Book Hero Magic formatted this description to make it easier to read. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! Description

The Waters is a novel composed of 21 stories.

One family. Forty years.

The Waters children — practical, athletic Mark; the physically beautiful dreamer Davey; and the baby of the family, Samantha — have faced more than their fair share of challenges. The year 1979 was pivotal when their father sold the family farm and invested all their money in a doomed property development next to the ocean in Christchurch. Is that when "everything started going wrong," as Mark believes?

Will their bond endure the passage of time, or will the siblings succumb to their parents' legacy of failure? Can the past be overcome and forgiven?
