The View from Lake Como
The View from Lake Como
The View from Lake Como by Adriana Trigiani is a captivating love story reminiscent of Eat, Pray, Love and Carley Fortune's works, set against the picturesque backdrop of Lake Como. Authored by the New York Times bestselling author, this tale invites readers on a heartfelt journey.
In Lake Como, New Jersey, Jess Capodimonte Baratta finds herself divorced, living in her parents' basement, and assisting her Uncle Louie with his marble business. Upon discovering that her family made past decisions that stifled her dreams, Jess is filled with fury. Firmly resolved to start anew, she sets off for her family's ancestral home.
In Italy, Jess begins to regain her independence. Her newfound happiness is complemented by her burgeoning romance with the charming Angelo. However, as Jess uncovers even more about her family's enigmatic history, she must consider whether the revelations about Uncle Louie's past will compel her to return to her old life or liberate her to embrace life on her own terms.
