Avengers: Twilight
Avengers: Twilight
Acclaimed writer Chip Zdarsky presents a thrillingly dark new vision of the Avengers, set in the far-flung future!
Avengers: Twilight unveils a gleaming new world of prosperity where Captain America is no more. Yet, Steve Rogers still exists, wandering through an America where freedom is but an illusion...where the Avengers are unfamiliar, and his long-time friends have passed away.
But is the Dream itself truly dead? And how do you assemble Avengers in a world that doesn't want them?
With the countdown to New Year's Day and the world against him, Steve must rally an army to save America! Will his surviving friends join his cause, or will he have to lead a motley crew known as the Defenders against the skilled military marksman Bullseye?
Can Steve infiltrate the Raftβa governmental bastion shrouded in secrets and peril off the coast of New York Cityβbefore the new Iron Man subjects him to the same grisly fate as Tony Stark?
Collecting Avengers: Twilight #1-6.

About the Author
Chip Zdarsky became well-known as the artist of the award-winning Sex Criminals and the writer of Kaptara, both from Image Comics. Howard the Duck was his first Marvel series, soon followed by books including Marvel 2-in-One and Peter Parker- The Spectacular Spider-Man. Now one of the leading writers in comics, Zdarsky has wowed readers with his Daredevil run; limited series such as X-Men/Fantastic Four, Spider-Man- Life Story and Spider-Man- Spider's Shadow; and creative covers including his "How to Draw" variants. Spanish illustrator Daniel Acuna began his professional career with the publication of the French series Claus & Simon, later reprinted by the popular American magazine Heavy Metal. Acuna then burst onto the American comics scene with DC's Green Lantern and Flash. For Marvel, he has illustrated such popular series as Young X-Men, Eternals, Black Widow, X-Men Legacy, Avengers, New Avengers, Uncanny Avengers and Wolverine.
