Book Hero Magic created this recommendation. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! IS THIS YOUR NEXT READ?

You might enjoy this graphic novel if you're a fan of intense, post-apocalyptic storytelling combined with gritty superhero action. This work offers a fresh and darker take on a beloved character, blending character-driven drama with stunning visuals. It's perfect for anyone who enjoys imaginative world-building and complex plot twists in their comic book adventures.

Book Hero thinking about your next read

Fusing the dystopian super-hero elements of the X-Men's "Days of Future Past", the wild and wooly futurescapes of "Mad Max", and the tragic pathos of Clint Eastwood's archetypal Western heroes, this tale finds Wolverine at a crossroads with who he really wants to be and who he really is.

Book Hero Magic formatted this description to make it easier to read. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! Description

Mark Millar and Steve McNiven—who last teamed for the monumental Civil War—bring us the most important Wolverine story of the 21st century. Nobody knows what happened on the night the heroes fell. All we know is that they disappeared and evil triumphed, and the bad guys have been calling the shots ever since.

What happened to Wolverine is the biggest mystery of all. For 50 years, no one has heard hide nor hair from him... and in his place stands an old man called Logan. A man concerned only about his family. A man pushed to the brink by the Hulk Gang. A man forced to fight back.

Book Hero Magic summarised reviews for this book. While it's new and still learning, it may not be perfect - your feedback is welcome! HOW HAS THIS BEEN REVIEWED?

Wolverine: Old Man Logan is praised for its intense and imaginative storyline, set in a dystopian future where Wolverine comes out of retirement for one final adventure. Reviewers commend Mark Millar's ability to blend action with deeper themes of redemption and revenge, while the artwork is lauded for its gritty and visceral style, effectively bringing the dramatic narrative to life. Some critiques mention the story's dark tone but overall, it is considered a gripping and visually stunning addition to the Wolverine saga.
