Every Body
Every Body
Every Body is a gender-inclusive guide to body image encouraging young people to question beauty standards and advocate for all bodies, including their own. Written by campaigner, writer, and founder of The Body Happy Organisation, Molly Forbes.
We all have a body. They don't always function the same as other people's. And they certainly don't all look the same. But one thing is certain — every body deserves respect. This is an essential guide to embracing and respecting all bodies, for readers aged 9+.
Sometimes social media can make us feel like we're not good enough if we don't have a 'perfect' body. But the truth is, everyone feels bad about their bodies sometimes — even celebrities with millions of followers.
Author and campaigner Molly Forbes is here to show you that you — and only you — get to decide how you feel about your body. If we want to change the conversation around body image, we need to advocate for every single body — including those that look or function differently from our own.
It's time to stop criticising the way we look and celebrate all our glorious differences!

About the Author
Molly Forbes is a writer, presenter, campaigner and a mum to two daughters. As the founder of social enterprise the Body Happy Organisation CIC, Molly runs workshops for teachers and youth leaders on the subject of body image, providing resources to help parents, teachers and carers to promote positive body image for children. Molly regularly appears at events and in the media talking about children's body image and mental health. She has spoken on various media outlets including ITV's This Morning, BBC Breakfast, Sky Sunrise, Sky News, Radio 1 Newsbeat, Heart Breakfast and C4's Steph's Packed Lunch. Molly lives in Devon with her children and husband. Mollie Cronin is a Canadian cartoonist, illustrator, and educator, from Halifax, Nova Scotia. This is her second time illustrating a book in the UK and she is perplexed and thrilled that folks across the pond are so keen to work with her. Often writing under the name Art Brat Comics, Mollie is best known for her fat positive illustrations and cheeky comics that poke holes in the logic of diet culture. She received a BA in Art History from NSCAD University before accidentally becoming a cartoonist in 2015. She is currently working on her master's degree in Gender Studies and living in Kingston, Ontario, and is missing the ocean very much.
