About the Author

Tim Harris (Author) Tim Harris is the bestselling author of several laugh-out-loud series for kids, including Toffle Towers, Mr Bambuckle's Remarkables and Exploding Endings. A former primary school teacher of 15 years, Tim fills his stories with quirky scenarios, loveable characters and plenty of imagination. Tim's 'humour with heart' writing style has seen his books receive multiple awards, including five KOALA Honour Books (2017, 2019, two in 2020, and 2021) and a CBCA Notable (2018). His books have been published in Australia and the USA, and have been translated into numerous languages. An advocate for creativity and short stories, Tim conducts presentations and workshops that are both dynamic and entertaining. He is a sought-after presenter, having worked in hundreds of schools across Australia. Tim lives in Sydney with his wife and four young children. James Hart (Illustrator) James Hart grew up loving comics, cartoons and drawing. After finishing his studies, he turned that passion into a full-time career as an illustrator. Over the years he has worked on toy designs, animations and books for multiple clients and publishers across the world. Projects include- the popular animated series of The Day My Butt Went Psycho, the award-winning You Choose series, the CBCA-notable Mr Bambuckle's Remarkables series, the thrilling Mysterious World of Cosentino series, the young adventure series D-Bot Squad and MANY titles with author Adam Wallace, including the series Cowboy and Birdbrain that James illustrated and co-created. James also illustrated the 2018 Premiers' Reading Challenge posters in Victoria, and has now written and illustrated the hilarious and flamboyant action-packed graphic novel series, Super Geeks. When James isn't drawing he can be found being a dad and husband, watching movies and cartoons, listening to music, gardening, reading and writing.
