Two Can Play by Margaret Sturton is a charming story that follows the contrasting lives of Cat and Puss. Cat enjoys working tirelessly in the garden—digging, planting seeds, and growing vegetables. In contrast, Puss doesn't see the point in gardening; she prefers to spend her time indoors, sipping tea and relaxing.

The twist comes when Cat's hard work pays off, resulting in a bountiful harvest and a delectable feast. Puss, with a penchant for delicious food, suddenly becomes interested in sharing in the rewards of Cat's labour.

This wry tale of hard work and its rewards captivates readers with the delightful dynamics between Cat and Puss, beautifully illustrated and narrated by rising star Margaret Sturton. Margaret's debut picture book, A Fox Called Herbert, was longlisted for the Klaus Flugge Prize 2021 and the Jhalak Prize 2021.
