Tilly Plants a Tree by William Petty follows young Tilly, who has been learning all about trees and is eager to grow one herself. When her Grandma shows her a special oak tree and they collect an acorn from the ground, they know exactly what to do. With the help of friends Worm and Ladybird, Tilly begins to grow her very own oak tree.

Join Tilly as she watches her tree grow, with interactive fun flaps to lift that reveal what's happening underground, and a big pop-up surprise waiting at the end.

This book combines a gentle story with simple facts to explain how plants grow, inspiring children to go outside and follow the helpful tips to plant their own trees.

Featuring artwork from the bestselling The Gruffalo illustrator Axel Scheffler, this new nature series from the National Trust is a treasure for the whole family to enjoy. Other titles in the series include Sam Plants a Sunflower.
