Tove Jansson, writer and artist (1914-2001) first published her Moomin stories for children sixty-five years ago. They appeared in English five years later and have since been translated in 35 languages. The enduringly popular, A Book about Moomin, Mymble and Little My and Who Will Comfort Toffle? are both published by Sort of Books. They have together sold in excess of 55,000 copies. Sophie Hannah is a bestselling poet and author who was shortlisted for the 2007 TS Eliot Prize.
