Sian Hamilton has been a designer for over twenty years and holds a BA (Hons) in 3D Design. Introduced to sewing by her grandmother, who was a seamstress, Sian started sewing clothes for herself in her teenage years before progressing to making custom wedding dresses for clients early in her career. She is the author of several books on jewellery making and sewing from GMC Publications and currently lives in Camberley, UK.
Tansy and Sian met at university while studying for a BA in 3D Design. They have both been in the design industry for over 25 years and have collaborated on many magazine and book projects within the craft sector. Together, they aim to combine their creative ideas to introduce a range of simple craft skills to a wider audience. They have also co-authored Macrame and Air-Dry Clay.

Sian and Tansy met at university doing a BA in 3D design and they have both now been in the design industry for over 25 years. Sian and Tansy have worked together over the years on many magazine and book projects for the craft sector. They like to combine their creative ideas to bring a range of simple craft skills to a wider audience. Sian is the author of several books including Flowers, Wedding Jewellery and Now I Can Sew. Tansy has written several jewellery and craft books including Animals, Earrings and Now I Can Paper Craft. All available from GMC Publications. Mini Macrame is their latest book for GMC Publications. Both are based in the United Kingdom with Sian based in Surrey and Tansy in Somerset.
