Bad Mermaids: On the Rocks
Mermaids Beattie, Mimi, and Zelda, along with Steve the talking seahorse, are trapped aboard the spooky ship The Merry Mary, heading for the presumed-mythical Crocodile Kingdom – a vast, crocodile-filled metropolis where nothing is quite as it seems.
It's time to swim on down to the bright green lights and explore the oldest and grandest mermaid kingdom of them all! Just don’t let any mermaid know you’re not from there. Or else.
Featuring magical mysteries, fabulous fashion, and a snappier-than-average transport system, the second Bad Mermaids adventure brings a whole new twist to the underwater world of mermaids. If you enjoyed Witch Wars, The Little Mermaid, or Mabel Jones, you'll love this!

Bad Mermaids: On the Rocks is praised as a hilarious underwater adventure brimming with humour and vibrant storytelling. Set in a fantastical, shell-studded mermaid metropolis, the book is filled with feisty mermaids, magical mysteries, and comedic antics that promise to entertain young readers. The story's charm is compared to a mix of The Little Mermaid and Gossip Girl, featuring rich details and engaging characters, including a plucky talking seahorse.
