An extraordinary reference book for children aged 7-9 that explores our planet in a whole new way - from space!

This incredible guide to the Earth takes 7 to 9 year olds on an exploration of our planet through stunning illustrations, photographs, and fascinating information.

The perfect introduction for young readers who want to learn about our home planet and how it fits into our Solar System. Children will be launched on a mission around Earth, starting with how Earth is seen from space and landing in a chapter all about the Earth's atmosphere.

Did you know that Earth's gravity is completely different to other planets in the Solar System? Or that Jupiter experiences solar eclipses just like us? Planet Earth covers Earth and space in incredible detail, making it perfect for space enthusiasts everywhere!

Boasting beautiful illustrations by artist Dawn Cooper, combined with up-to-date images from space agencies such as NASA and ESA, information panels, and diagrams that help explain the wonder of the Earth, this is the ideal introduction to our planet and its place in space for young readers.
