About the Author

John Farndon is a writer of books, plays, and music. He has written more than a thousand books—yes, really—including How the Earth Works, Earth, and Rocks and Minerals.  

Isabel Aracama is an illustrator and teacher of both traditional and digital illustration techniques, and can turn her hand to a number of different styles.

Simon Mendez is an illustrator who takes particular pleasure in rendering images in exquisite detail often with an enchanting ethereal quality. He concentrates on conceiving mood lighting and creating compositions that are dynamic and engaging to draw the eye.
