Sleepy Princess in the Demon Castle, Vol. 21 follows Princess Syalis, who, despite being kidnapped by the Demon King and locked away, is mostly bored and focused on one thing: getting a good night’s sleep. In this volume, Syalis is shrunk to the size of a child, stirring up chaos in her usual mischievous way. The mystery surrounding the Ten Guardians, who curiously number only nine, is explored but with amusing and inconclusive results. The hunt for a spy in the castle results in confusion, while the backstory of the Demon Cleric’s change into a gentler demon unfolds. Expect lots of humour, hypnosis, hot pot dinners, and appearances by Midnight’s hound.
