About the Author

As a young fella, Scotty would sit listening to his neighbour Malcolm Douglas telling stories about exploring the Kimberley. It was the beginning of a life-long affair with exploring one of the world's last untamed wilderness areas. Scotty is now a passionate tour guide and the owner of Kimberley Spirit Tours, a small-group tour operation. For his outstanding service in the industry, he was awarded the coveted FACET Golden Guide Award in 2018 at the Western Australia Tourism Awards in Perth. He is also the founder of the not-for-profit Kimberley Spirit Foundation. Scotty is a loving father and husband and he lives with his family in Kununurra. There are few people more qualified to show you the 100 best things to see in the Kimberley.
